Realistically how long can I keep all these fry in this 25l tank?

Not long they grow fast…couple weeks before they start putting a big load on the tank. Call your LFS, they may take them.

  2. They can stay long term (fry take forever to grow and have a tiny footprint that probably won’t mess up your water parameters) but they will be eaten by the parents, which is a good thing because that tank is too small for all those babies to grow up in.

If you’re going to have male and female guppies together they’re *always* going to be having babies and I would personally get a bigger thank. A 6 gallon is small for a bunch of adults. I have a colony in a 20g and it seems to be doing well and balancing itself out with the babies.
