Hi guys, I’m a little bit of a beginner (I only have one other fish tank that I bought brand new, it doesn’t have a stand). I just received this tank and stand from a friend of a friend. I calculated it to be about 9 gallons. Is there a piece missing from the top of the stand (where it’s rusty)? What do I search for to put on top of the stand to rest the tank on? Anything else I need to do to the stand to get it ready?

I’d look into getting a different stand. Rust can compromise the structural integrity.
