I bought this lovely piece of wood for my new tank and I’m wondering if it’s too big for my 40L tank, introducing a betta soon and unsure whether I should buy a new piece. This piece is so beautiful and it kills me that I overestimated the size of the tank🥲

It’s gorgeous and sits in that sized tank just about perfectly, while leaving plenty of room for a betta.
I think it looks great. A rasping fish would love this. If you want to go that route try and introduce it before the betta, they tend to be less territorial to fish which are already in the tank when they’re added
