My teacher’s 20 gal sprung a leak, and she was only able to get a 10 gal for the time being. And now that I re-set up everything, she doesn’t seem like she’s trying much to get a bigger tank.

There’s a fluval AC30 on it and an airstone. And clearly a ton of guppies. To me, it seems rlly overstocked cause the most fish I’ve had were like eight tetras and seven Cories in a 20. Is it actually not as bad as I’m thinking?

  1. Each guppy has room to pace, but follow the nitrates. You’ll probably need a 75% water change about every 3 days for now.

  2. Just watch ammonia, nitrite and nitrate carefully (test at least daily) since the cycle may be lost or at least very fragile. But as long as the cycle is intact or as long as you mitigate with frequent water changes, they’ll be fine.
