Sorry it's a bit hard to see. I just noticed this crack this morning. Should I be worried? Been looking for an excuse to build a new tank but just sad cuz the amount of work it'll take to build another one :((

Verify it is a crack, because that is an absolute no go tank is gone type of crack.

More likely to win the lottery than have that tank not fail on you type of crack.
There’s only two opinions, you can drain it yourself or you can leave it and it’ll drain itself whenever it wants, the second option requires a lot more mopping than the first.

Um… I don’t think thats a safe position for the heater either, friend.
You can go buy a plastic #5 tote for like $15-20 depending on the size you want as a quick move.

Is it a deep scratch or a crack? If the latter then yes definitely time to be extremely worried!
