Looking to get my first setup as a Christmas present. After a night of looking I’ve decided on this rod and reel. (Ugly Stik Elite 6’6 Medium 2pc New Model and Penn Pursuit IV 3000) I would just like to make sure this reel would be able to fit on this rod. Any advice appreciated.
I’m also located in South Louisiana (Lafayette Area) and have no real goal besides just getting out there and casting some lines just in case that info helps.
