Had issues with my sponge filters creating too much surface movement so I used what extra tubing I had and did this. Helps 10000% not sure if this is a common tactic for taking care of this issue

Just got my sponge filter in today for my 20 long and was thinking about doing exactly this. It’s a dual output and I only have one plant corral, but I’d like the surface to be mostly red root floaters, so this immediately came to mind.
