I’d like some thoughts on this combo. I’ve not bought a nice combo in a long time if ever really. I used to subscribe to get a good reel and cheap rod cause they break but I’ve been doing some educating and I think spending more on the rod is better. If not this combo for $300 what would you suggest?
Primary use is jig fishing for sand dabs, greenlings could be 2-8lb fish with 1/2oz lures. Maybe a salmon but I have other rods on the boat for that. Maybe lake fishing for bass via jigging or maybe top water lures.
