Like any fly fisherman over the years I've collected so many fly's but always find I come back to these favorites. Black nymph's and wooly buggers head the list.

  1. This time of year I like to use egg bombers and mop flys a lot. Since the hatches are slowing down fish resort to food in the water more often than in the summer. I would try caddis nymphs and emergers as well. The egg bombers this time of year are very effective since brown trouts are spawning the fish tend to look for that as the eggs slip off the nests and drift down the water.
