Hey my fellow betta friends !
My husband bought me this beautiful 7 gallon mini aqua pond as an early Christmas present. I absolutely love it, it’s so relaxing! I still have a lot more planting to do as it is freshly set up as of a few hours ago, but this is the setup for now.
I was curious, after I cycle it, would it be an ok setup for a female betta? I already have two male bettas (in two separate tanks) and I would really like a female. I tried slowing the flow by adding rocks at the top and bottom of the waterfall and that helped a lot! Is the flow ok for a female betta or should I consider stocking it with something else?

Only thing id be worried about is too much current. Id get some moss and a big rock to put under and slow down the water flow, but besides that, it should be fine!
Can you put more water in it so the waterfall is shorter? Looks like you’ve got a good 3-4″ headspace there.
Doesnt look like its much water though? How much goes in there?
Another concern about stocking with a Betta or any labyrinth fish species would be jumping risk.
