If the big guy in the first photo was about 22", I lost a 30"+ kyped up bull trout after tripping while going to net it and tangling the leader around the tip of my rod. Probably my worst fish loss ever, still made it out with some awesome ones.

Love catching whitefish on the nymph and convincing myself that “this one is definitely a trout” until I can finally see it.
Catching anything on the Met is a skill. This is amazing.
