i just saw this a couple minutes ago. no soap has ever been used in this tank. it looks like the shape of his fish flakes so i’m not sure if that’s what it is.

oh yay i’m glad it’s not smth bad!! i do have a lot of snails so im sure they’ll enjoy snacking on it. i only really have one area that isn’t covered by the floaters, so its not a huge issue for me

just biofilm, completely normal and harmless. you can skim it off if you don’t like the look of it

Biofilm it’s not harmful in small amounts but it typically means there’s not enough water flow
