hi i got my betta almost a month ago, he’s been doing great but suddenly these spots appeared and im not sure if they are holes or the white spots from ich. i just cleaned the tank after noticing and did a 50% water change and took out any decor in case they are too sharp. if anyone recognizes what this is and how to treat it, please let me know!!

if you shine the light through, from behind him, do you see brighter spots or darker spots? If it’s a hole it would be brighter, if it’s ich it would be darker
