Hello! This ten gallon freshwater tank is still cycling so I hope it’s not too early to plan out what fish I want. Some of the fish I’m considering include:
Female betta
Pygmy corydaras
Rasboras
Neon tetras
Short fin guppies
Dwarf honey gourami
Dwarf danios
I’d love to have some combination of three of these species in a community tank (I’d like to have one bigger fish, either the female betta or dwarf gourami, and then two smaller groups of schooling fish. I have my heart set on the Pygmy Corys as one of those two). I also want 1-2 snails.
Let me know what you think the safest bet combo in terms of compatibility/bioload is, and if you have any fish recommendations that I haven’t mentioned. I particularly am interested in more obscure fish that I might not think of or pick up easily at a chain pet store.
