Today I finally brought my first ever Halfmoon Betta from a store. Everything was fine until I noticed what looks like a lump? Should I be concern and is there anything I can do to help him?
* First pic is where the lump(?) is located
* Second pic is original

Additional info:
Tank size: 6 gallons
Tank cycled for 2 months
No heater , but got filter
Tank temperature: Not really sure as I lived in a tropical country so temperature should be constant
Key water parameters: ammonia (0), nitrites (0), nitrates(0), and pH (7.6)
How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?: Never did water changes, only add water
tankmates: some cherry shrimps
What do you feed and how much: Only 8 fish pellets after waiting a few hours of him exploring the tank
Decorations and plants in the tank: heavily planted with low tech plants
I’m not the most educated on Bettas I’m still learning but possible constipation? If that’s the case then you have to fast him, I’m sure the comments will come soon to explain better IF that’s the case (there’s more to it then just fasting I believe)
