Can we see the reel seat withouthe the reel attached? It looks like it is a 2 piece and is misaligned.

In your other post you said you have had multiple reels in a row with this same issue, at that point it isnt the reels. You either have a messed up reel seat or are somehow putting the reel on wrong. Post a picture of the reel in the seat from the side so we can see gow the foot of the reel is sitting in the seat.

I know nothing about daiwa’s reels but i stopped buying their braid because i got many spools of this stuff that was nowhere near what was stated on the spool. My 20 lb braid broke at about 7.7 lb, second spool, same shit. Third spool was almost right and way coarser then the others. Is the quality control section drunk there ?
