So I have this cute guy (who has yet to be named) in a 10 gallon tank, and I’m wondering what everyone does for a filter? I have a HOB filter, but ordered a sponge with two air hoses (thought process being use one as a bubbler). What’s everyone’s preference or opinion?

Sponge filter. Why? Because it does a lot of a less intense flow then hob filters do. Bettas (especially long finned ones) actually suck at swimming. I always always recommend a sponge filter if possible.
