Is this good for trout

Hi,

On the left I have a standard size 2.5 grams Japanese made Yarie spoon that I use with great success. The right one is Yarie First star and I got 20 of them for my birthday from a friend. Can you tell me if they are good for normal size trout or more about them in general. I tried casting them a few times and they cast 4 times more than the normal spoons but the bigger size and weight (10 grams) is too much in my opinion. Since I’ve got so much of the can I use them for other species as well?
