had these wounds when i got him in the net, it’s a fallfish caught it in the Susquehanna river in new york. i hadnt caught a fish in weeks and as i was reeling it in i saw the gash and thought with my luck i broke the skunk by like fin-hooking it or something.
my guess is a bird caught and dropped him but what you guys think?
