I don’t understand the hype behind Keitech swimbaits. I’ve bought some, but the durability is dog shit. I remember seeing everyone saying Keitech Keitech Keitech… am I missing something? I’d rather use a Z-man elaztech paddle tail, but I hardly throw one anymore. A fluke works better.

Soft baits have more action. It’s a trade off you have to decide for yourself. There are times I definitely go for a more durable, cheaper alternative when fishing is easy
Man, I agree they are absolute trash when it comes to durability. But I’ll be damned if those little 3” and 4” shiners don’t catch fish though!
The softness makes for more action in the water. Definitely not durable though as a result.
Plus their scent is different then the others as well
I’m with ya literally majority of other swimbaits swim the same and have way better durability
I like the scheels equivalent I’m sure bass pro is also close. Same style little tougher plastic but not impossible to put a jig head through like elaztech
I use these for striped bass on a jig head , but I put a small zip tie around it near the hook. I can catch about a dozen until I need to change it.
Dont know what it is about em whether its the plastic, the fact they smell like squid or what but they catch em. And agreed durability is garbage. If found if you glue the heads you might get 3 fish per bait instead of 1 or 2 without being glued. The strike king rage swimmers arent bad, but they fall rather short in comparison to the ole keitech
No one is buying them or recommending them because they’re durable or cost effective lol. They catch fish like nothing else though
