I just picked up a Piscifun Frost II and it’s my first inline reel. It’s sitting here empty just begging for some line but I don’t know what to spool onto it.
Most of my spinning rods have mono, but I have one with braid and haven’t had issues with it freezing up. I am mostly fishing in a heated hub which avoids that as an issue, although sometimes I’ll hole hop for a bit to get on the fish before setting up.
What are people’s opinions on line for inline reels? Same benefits and characteristics as when using spinning reels or are there additional considerations for inline?

This is your spool right here. I circled where you should be able to look down at the center of the spool where you will be able to see the line. I think there is probably a guide hole around on it somewhere speficofally for the line.
I use Trilene Micro Ice mono, 3lb test for panfish. I love it and have had zero problems.
