Aquariums: Just went to my lfs and got these for $40 each. Good, bad, or fair?
1 gold nugget; 3 inches
2 snowballs; 4.5 in, and 4.75 inches

Meh, I’ve seen them for less for around that size, but I’ve also seen them for more.

Depends entirely where in the world you are.
I think 40 for snowballs is average in my area. The gold for 40 is a pretty good deal in my area.

Jacks discus had them for 50 a month or so ago and discus.com had them for around the same price. My LFS has them every once in a while for around 30 for maybe a 3.5” fish. I’m more impressed with the price of the bigger honestly.

That’s an ok price for a snowball locally (it’s the standard price if ordered online but that doesn’t include shipping) and a good price for gold nugget depending on where you are. Then again, for some like myself who live in a remote US state, both would be steal deals for me so all depends.
