So hi I'm quite new to the hobby, got my first tank off "Kleinanzeigen" (kinda like German Craigslist). It's a 30l Dennerle Nanocube and it came with everything inside except the thermometer and heater. It came stocked with Yellow Unicolor Neocardinia (the seller said she bought 11 adults a year ago.) For now I only see the babies but that is expected. My plan for this tank is to transform it into a naturalistic planted tank and maybe add a betta at some point later down the line. Any ideas and Advice are very welcome! For anyone curious I paid 65euro for the tank.

It looks like the plants are covered in the dirt and debris from the ground so I would add a small top layer of sand and stones, along with much larger plant species to grow in the back to provide cover and places to rest and hide for your shrimp and future betta! And short plants up front. Also, I love the broken down Colosseum look but I would suggest adding wood and more natural things to counter balance or even possibly replace them at some point, they are great looking but not as beneficial as it could be! And the shrimp would probably love a good piece of drift wood! They also will need good places to hide from the betta so they don’t get eaten 🙂 (they tend to go for baby’s not fully grown ones but still a risk!)
