I have him in a 20 gallon tank and he was doing great for the first few weeks I had him but then one day he had those two holes in his fins. I took out the one fake plant I thought could be the only thing to cause it and started treating him with paraguard to prevent infection while it healed, but it's not healing. He's had them for like two weeks now and ive tried a couple different medications but nothing's helping and idk what to do.

Do you know your water parameters?
they’re fin tears, probably caused by the fake plant or any other objects in the tank with sharp edges. the wound itself will be healed by now, but it might not regrow and close up, they don’t always
He may have just hurt himself. I would keep an eye out for what it might have been and get s test kit so you can make sure the parameters are good while he’s healing
