Update: left it overnight and this is the outcome,
Nitrate: 10ppm
Nitrite:10ppm
Ammonia: 0
Still waiting on plant weights that I had to order as I didn’t realise these plants would just float up without sand😟😆
How can I get nitrites down as I don’t want to disturb the substrate again or clean the filter because it may crash my cycle even more 🥲

You get the nitrites down through water changes.
To reduce nitrates without disturbing your substrate or disrupting the beneficial bacteria during the cycle, the safest option is to simply do smaller, more frequent water changes (like 10–20% every 2–3 days instead of one huge change) until the tank fully stabilizes and the plants start consuming nitrates more heavily.
