It's been getting cold here and it feels like the fall bite days are waning. Today was high 40s and drizzly. I think I'd been skunked my last 7 trips out over the past few weeks. Have been reading a lot of helpful tips from this sub and others, and the moral of the story is: Fishing beats any day in the office.
Not a lake monster, but thought this was a beautiful walleye regardless! Each catch is what makes me want to do it again. Get out there when you can!
