Have you guys ever seen this mini canister filter before? It's a little bigger than a coffee mug and the design is really cool. I was always so intimidated with canister filters and how complicated they seemed, but this one literally comes with everything you need (fittings, hoses, anti-vibration mat, bio media, etc.) The price point is also really competitive if you compare it with other ones of similar quality, which there aren't many. Even if you make a custom one and price it out, you'll likely end up spending more than if you just bought this unit.
Anyway, I just bought this and I liked it so much, I bought another for a family members tank. Just thought I'd share.
