After two redesigns, a few headaches, and one almost disaster, here is my 20-gallon aquarium. It contains eight guppies, five corydoras catfish, two nerite snails, one mystery snail named Big Freddie, and a colony of about a billion shrimp, along with many, many plants. Perhaps a bit overstocked, but there are plenty of hiding places and everyone gets along fine (though the guppies are a bit bro-ey). All the animals are active, curious, and fun to watch, and at least three shrimp are carrying eggs.
Creating and maintaining this tank, alongside taking care of my tarantula, has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’m looking forward to watching this little living room ecosystem evolve over the coming months and hopefully years.
I just wanted to share.

You should be very proud! That’s gorgeous!
Far from overstocked! I’d add 3 more cories of the same species though.
