My boy died a month ago after 3 great years of life, and I've just stopped at the local pet shop to see what's in stock and fell in love with these two beauties. I cannot decide which one I like the most!! My boy was a pale golden yellow and was so pretty, he was similar to the one in the first picture. Which would you choose if you had to pick between these two?

It looks like the first one will gain color as time goes on
I would lowkey wait till they have more imo
2nd seems to have popeye & not be in very good shape, i’d pick the first unless you have meds to treat him & are up for a special needs betta
