I found his old tackle box and it’s been about 13 years since it was last opened. Not the best of smells, but I decided to empty it out, clean up what I could with soap and water and do a bit of reorganizing. I had these out drying and was wondering if it would be worth the time to redo the hooks on these lures or if I should just get new ones to replace them. They are fairly rusted out so I can’t imagine they’ll be the best ‘seasoning’ for the lures themselves. I plan on starting back up fishing regularly next years season so I would definitely be trying lures (I grew up knowing only live bait).
