My betta doesn’t want a buddy that can’t lay eggs. My betta has its mind on two things: getting inside my gravel siphon and finding a flirty fish that’ll fill his bubble nest with eggs.

I’d say good for a few minutes at a time if you flare your bettas. Or a silly decoration if your betta doesn’t care about it. My guess is a betta WOULD care about this being in its tank.
