I got him at the aquarium place nearby, he looks like a koi betta but I’m not sure what type because he’s apparently missing most of his tail since he jumped into another bettas aquarium and got his butt kicked lol. I’m new to this but I think he looks like he’s healing well? He’s very active and curious he’s exploring his new plant I just got him. I’ve been watching videos but I’d love some tips and if anyone can tell me if the healing process looks good or what I can do to help him I’m all ears. (They told me he’s a male) I know he prefers calm waters but since I added a new plant I upped the flow a bit so the flying substrate would clear up quicker I’m gonna turn it down when the water becomes less cloudy it’s already better.

  1. 10 gallon tank
    Heater and filter
    Tank temp 25-26 Celsius
Feed bug bites and brine shrimp
Water parameters the aquarium shop told me to wait to test because this is a relatively new tank and fish it’s been about a week. The aquarium shop told me to wait about 2 more weeks to test and see if it’s okay to add more fish (cleaner etc.)
No water change yet and no visible gunk or algae. Decoration, a few rocks. 2 live plants and one silk I think?
