Picture of my betta, Abe Sapien for attention.
I'm very new to fish keeping, and I would like to be prepared in case anything happens. So far I have Ich-X, and I plan on buying some aquarium salt. Is there anything else that would be helpful to have around?

Methylene blue , stress guard, and kanaplex are REALLY REALLY handy
Also a bucket or tote you can set up if they are ever ill and need medication
Note: kanaplex is for bacterial infections, and may be hard on their organs
I always use eSHa Exit if my fish ever get ich and so far it’s cured every single one! I don’t know if you can get eSHa products where you are, but you can buy online. I’ve also used eSHa 2000 and Gdex for other infections and parasites, equally effective and the best thing is you can use all 3 treatments at once if your fish has multiple infections. Adding a catappa leaf or 2 to his tank is good for general health and wellbeing too.
I have a hospital tank, aquarium salt, Epsom salt, cattapa leaves and Sulfaplex. If you catch anything early this should be all you need.
