Spent the week at Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas. First trip in my Jackson Bite FD and I must say I love this boat. For a guy my size (5' 7" x 165lbs) this boat is fantastic. The drive is a little far from the seat but it's fast, stable and not too heavy. I can easily truck bed this boat by myself. The drive is smooth and it paddles very well if you choose to give your legs a break. Thanks to the few guys who've shared their opinions here on Reddit. I didn't know which kayak I wanted to upgrade to but I'm very happy with my choice. This thing is perfect for what im going to use it for, as I mainly fish rivers and lakes for bass of all sorts. I wanted a Hobie but brand new and fully rigged I still spent less than what an Outback costs. Sure it doesn't have a ton of in hull storage but the bag Jackson made to go under the seat holds more than I need. I feel this boat deserves more recognition than it gets. My rant is done. Good day, all. Happy fishing.
