I was fishing with my ultra light rod which has 4lb mono and I was using my 1/8 ounce rooster tail. I casted by some branches and my lure seemed to get snagged, but after 3-5 seconds it suddenly started peeling drag, I desperately reeled my line in and the fish was barely hooked in the lip so instead of reaching for my net, I just got it the water and lipped the fish. This was the most exhilarating bass catch I have ever had! It weighed 6.39 pounds! This shows that even the tiny lures catch big bass while typically in my experience, big lures catch a few dinks, and a few giants, but way less fish. But if you use a tiny lure, you can catch all the fish! Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
