Hey, first time here.
I bought an "uncommon" brand for where I live. Usually I fish on commercial ponds(catch and release, just for the sport), and I love to fish for bottom feeders.
My question – it is "wrong" to use an sea reel for that ?

Super short answer no. Slightly longer answer. If your catching sub 10 lb fish on a rod rated for 30-60lbs with 50lb line and a big chunky reel. You are depriving yourself of the joy of the fight. It would be more fun to use some slightly lighter gear
