I've been fishing for about a month now, and proud to say, I finally caught my first bass. In fact, you know the saying "when it rains, it pours." I caught 4 total today. The first one was the biggest. Shame I didn't have a scale but it felt like a two-pounder. I was way to excited to do the classic grab-by-mouth-and-pose-for-a-pic with it though. It was really a great experience 🙂 4" green pumpkin yamamoto on a widegap hook – it was perfect for the 50s Texas weather.

Nice fish mate, I would say it’s a little bit less than 2 lbs but still great fish, soon you will be out catching 10lbers
