okay so i got this fish about a week ago from petco it’s a male, veil tale betta.

Healthy yh, no fin rot, but i would recommend adding some tank mates like corys or schooling fish like embers and also plants so the betta rest, hide and feel safer. Its a bit like
Living in a mansions but you have no friends, the masion constantly feels empty, you live on a small bed, your bored without friends/other fish or plants

• Tank size: 20 gallon tall
• has a heater and filter both aquaeon, the filter is the silent waterfall one with live ceramic media in it.
• Tank temperature: 78°
ammonia 0 Nitrate 0 nitrate 5 API test kit
pH 7.2 (i’m adding tannins in soon) API tester
• Had the tank 1 year. Had the fish for 6 days.
• Haven’t done a water change but will do so once every week and a half to two weeks using a siphon.
• 3 ghost shrimp
• bloodworms/ daphnia switching between days once a day
• mophani wood, amazon sword plant, anubis, lucky bamboo, dwarf grass, betta floater, moss hide hole, moss bridge, small driftwood , moss ball floater decoration, live grow log thing.
