I cleaned my grandpa's old aquarium yesterday and set it up again, i cleaned the filter completely and put it in. I boiled the stones and some of the deco. I cleaned the rest with hot water and a sponge. I used Marcels green soap for the aquarium itself since there was a lot of dried algae in all the colors of the rainbow. I rinsed it outside with the garden hose to get all the bits of soap off.
I Filled it up with water and turned the filter on overnight, i just came downstairs and i see a lot of bubbles on the water surface. How do i know if its harmfull? I wanna get the plants in today so it can run for a while before i get the fish.

Looks like soap. You don’t need soap when you’re cleaning rocks or decor. You shouldn’t use soap at all when it comes to aquariums.
Hard to tell from this image but they might be bubbles from trapped air in your pump from when you filled the tank. But when in doubt clean it out. Better a water change now then dead fish later. Also if you cant clean the algea with just water, let it hydrate and cover the tank in a blanket to starve the algea of light.
However when first starting a tank algea are a good thing to have, they help keep the water clean and improve the growth of usefull bacteria.
