I just noticed this white lump on his gill today, I’m colorblind so I didn’t notice it until today. It’s slightly raised, but it doesn’t seem to be hurting him at all. He’s still acting completely like himself. I just finished treating him for fin rot and now this has shown up? I tested the parameters and everything is at normal levels (Nitrate, Nitrite, Ammonia, Alkalinity, Chlorine, Ph) except the water is a bit on the harder side. Could this be fungal?

He’s in a ten gallon tank with a heater (80F) and a sponge filter, I’ve had the tank set up for about four months and my beta about three, I change the water once every 1-2 weeks and do about 25%, he’s in with a single Otocinclus, I feed him as many pellets as he’ll eat in a couple minutes twice a day, and he’s in a planted tank.
Looks like a tumor. Harmless unless she starts showing issues with eating/swimming/etc.
