I used some fabric, some rabbit dubbing( olive), wrapped that with the fabric again, and used some peacock hurl as the wings. Should I cut a bit of the wings? Im kinda just putting random stuff together to just start out. If you got any tips on my fly, I'd highly appreciate it.

Thats a fun looking fly. I bet it’ll fish! I learned a lot watching youtube videos like tightline productions. You’ll learn a lot of different techniques around dubbing, wings, palmering, and etc.
Identify important patterns for where you live, then ask friends or research online about which of the selected patterns are the easiest to tie, then follow YouTube videos on how to tie them precisely. When you first begin tying is not the time to be creative…. That comes later when you know what you’re doing. Best of luck.
