Would love to hear success stories with these interesting baits. I’ll be targetting smallmouth, largemouth, and pike. I mainly fish shallow rivers in my kayak so the 2-4ft dive is perfect.
I’ve got the 1/2 oz Hybrid Hunter Jr. Deciding on a color was tough but I went with Muh Nee Shad (photo). I like the Tannic Gill for a darker presentation. I’ll have to grab that next.

I’ve owned 2 and found that they needed to be tuned. Out of the box, both of mine would turn over after drifting left and then break the surface. I prefer a Mann’s Baby 1 minus (Twelve Oaks Customs has some solid clones) and the Bomber square A. I do love the patterns on the Hybrid Hunter, though — as you mentioned, the tannic gill is beautiful!
