You CAN catch in the cold

Drove 4 hours to the DMV, decided to hit up a pond in the area. Colorado, middle of the day and 27 degrees, slow rolling an underspin along the banks. Hooked into a healthy little largie, then 15 minutes later about 10 feet from the bank I get smacked by my FIRST walleye! No clue what it weighed my guess being 21-22 inches and 3ish pounds. 6’4” for reference.
