Caught this guy during the Sturgeon Moon in August. Anyone catching any big sturgeon this season?
Caught this my first time targeting them (pure beginners luck) in Michigan. Haven’t caught another one since then. Our c&r season continues through March on several major waterways.

Be careful there’s some clowns around here that will get mad at you for taking it out of the water, I bet that put up a hell of a fight though, only one I’ve caught was by accident

Beauty fish! Although you should keep the big ones like that in the water, their organs aren’t used to being in air and gravity can crush their organs! 🤙
I could only manage a skinny 4.5fter for my longest sturgeon this year hoping for bigger next year!
