First picture is from the first night using these traps. I put the tiiiiniest shaving of frozen chicken in them before bed and left them in overnight. Second picture is day two but the next morning. I had upgraded to about a 1/2 inch chunk of chicken in each.
I am mindblown. I knew we had a bunch but I never suspected that there were THIS many! My ramshorns are still overpopulated and pumping out new snabies regularly. I only got the traps because I had seen more than the usual few streaking across the glass lately and wanted to get ahead of it. HA!
Anyways, for anyone with snails or just otherwise doesn't want to dump chemicals into their tanks… these traps WORK!
Also, I am now having nightmares of planaria squirming into my eyes and living in my body, so there's that.

Question is this a snail only tank.
Never seen this many planaria definitely some overfeeding going on to have that in the traps.
I feel your on the nightmares planaria are one of the few things that actively and endlessly make my skin crawl. Gj on the trap hauls.
