Aquariums: For those of you who asked, here’s our first tank 2 months later!

Now our first tank is about 3 months old, here’s an update!

(The last photo is the tank at approx 1 months old)

The 30cm cube is doing pretty well:
– Water is crystal clear.
– Nitrates reading 0, even with light dosing of APT3.
– Root tabs recently added as the Ludwigia growth has slowed massively.
– Monte Carlo slowly forming a mini carpet.
– Weeping moss has gone crazy; Cherry shrimp are breeding loads and the moss is full of babies.

One down side is my ramshorn snails have eaten all the algae and now munch on healthy floating plants and the Ludwigia; they have never been fed so I don’t know what to do! I have removed the adults to stop any more eggs but the babies are persistent. Oh well.
