Trying to find a fishing pole for this angel tree child. Is this a brand or a type of fishing rod? Not at all familiar with anything relating to fishing. Guidance would be very much appreciated!

Baitcast fishing combo. Abu Garcia max x is a decent budget combo for a kid to learn on.

Bait caster is a type of reel and you want to get a casting rod for a bait caster reel. These are different from spinning reels and spinning rods. Depending on how much you want to spend you could get a combo for a reasonable price. Also depends on where you are. I’m relatively new to bait casters so I can’t recommend anything. Thanks for doing a Christmas angel tho! That’s a great way to make a kids day! Love to see it.
