Hello fish friends, please help me read this. (Nitrate) Is it 5ppm or closer to 10ppm? Ammonia and Nitrite are at 0ppm. Orange is hard for me to see, and I’m debating doing a partial water change.

Hello! Looks like 5 to me. Why the partial water change?
* **Tank size**: 9g Fluval flex
* **Heater and filter? (yes/no)**: yes
* **Tank temperature**: 76-78
* **[Parameters in numbers and how you got them](https://www.reddit.com/r/bettafish/wiki/tank#wiki_test_kits). Key water parameters include the amount of ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, and pH.**: test key, ammonia 0, nitrites 0, I’m waiting on a test tube to dry to test ph but it was good last week.
* **How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?**: 1 year ish. 2 months.
* **How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?**: water change as needed, typically just a top up since parameters are good. When needed I vacuum the sand.
* **Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each**: 3 panda corys, 5 rasboras, 1 mystery snail, red shrimp
* **What do you feed and how much**: flakes, pellets, blood worms, brine shrimp
* **Decorations and plants in the tank**: plants, drift wood, one fake decoration.
5 ppm, well within the safe range so you’re good
Looks like five. Also, you make sure your betta doesn’t eat the same pellets and flakes as your other fish, right?
