Orion's tank is finally here and got it set up in no time. However, another dilemma hits me because his water pump is too strong and I don't know how to make it a bubbler instead of it being a water cannon. At this moment, Orion is occupying the tank without the water filter on because it's too strong for him. I hope i can get some great tips to get this working properly

Looking at your previous post you don’t seem to know what you are doing at all. Also if this one tank has turned up what are you doing with the other betta you had in the separate container?
Put a piece of sponge in the way of the outflow of the pump to baffle it or just buy a cheap sponge filter and an air pump. Do you have a heater and a proper way to test your water?
I built a “cage” for my tank heater out of plastic canvas (flexible plastic mesh meant for weaving projects with yarn) – i got it super cheap from walmart and it worked awesome as a baffle for my filter. You can get plastic canvas for cheap online too and it comes in different colors.

This is Orion, my still unsure what breed of betta he is, curiously checking out his permanent home after staying in an emergency gallon container till his 16″x8″x8″ tank(I don’t really know how big this is in a gallon). But due to his water filter issue, it’s temporary off until it gets dealt with for good. He’s showing his fins more compared to when i just got him from a small cup. I’ll be continuing to make his tank a paradise for him even if it already costs me quite a lot.
Just just an air pump, air valve to control the output and a sponge filter.
