So how do we feel about Blob Flies? I had not heard of them until yesterday so I grabbed some tying materials. I tied a half dozen different ones and went to a high alpine lake. I got this guy and another with the Blob. It just felt weird using a fly that almost resembles powerbait. Let me know your thoughts…

It’s used to imitate freshwater plankton. Resembles powerbait is a stretch and they’re not alike at all
